This site, at first, comes off as a webcam blog. Thank goodness it isn't. Despite the fact that you are shown a picture of the webmistress on the main page along with a little bit of a bio, there is not much more you will find in terms of a resemblance to a webcam site. The layout is the basic, everyday blog scheme. Posts going down one side of the screen and a navigation bar running down the other. Besides the images included in each post, there is not much more that sillyish offers in the graphics department. In turn, this site comes off as looking somewhat bland. A little more color or more use of graphics would go a long way.
The
navigation, as I mentioned, is the typical blog navigation bar.
On the plus side, the links are bright orange which makes them stand
out. At least visitors won't get lost in deciphering between the text
and links.
The content,
for the most part, runs par with other blogs that I find almost useless
unless I am related to or close friends with the webmistress; or if
I am a teen stalker planning on learning everything there is to know
about the author. In defense of the webmistress, on the other hand,
there are some issues that she posts on which spark interest in her
viewers [through comments and suggestions]. Other than that, the 
content
of this site would have bored me into a coma if it werent for the wonderfully
written tutorials. Call me old fashioned, but I like my tables over
css, [pardon the web designer jargon] but sillyish has great tutorials
on using css to design a website, php scripting, etc. This is one of
the few sites that was able to get me to not be lazy, and to try going
through the steps being described. Great job with that. All in all,
this is a mediocre blog site. It would have been reviewed as such, [with
a score around a star and a half] but with such a great and informative
tutorials section included in its content, sillyish got a few brownie
points.
